Extensive Experience And Continued Education
With more than 40 years of experience, Dr. Pierce understands how best to treat a comprehensive range of oral health concerns, ranging from simple to complex. Since opening his practice, Dr. Pierce has remained committed to furthering his own education. Since 2000, he has achieved the level of Fellow with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is the first dentist to achieve this fellowship in the Southeast Louisiana area. In addition, he lectures to fellow dental professionals with the National Dental Association, Pelican State Dental Society and Gulf State Dental Conference.
All-on-4® treatment provides patients with a full-arch prosthesis over four implants on the day of surgery. All-on-4® is designed to give edentulous patients full function of their mouth and full mouth restoration. It’s heavily advertised as providing 4 implants, but some situations may require more.
All-on-4® overdentures reduce the complexity of treatment, the number of surgeries, and the overall treatment time. It is less expensive compared with fixed implants.
All-on-4® dental implants, also known as hybrid dentures, use high-end denture teeth and acrylic for the best aesthetics, making it the most cost effective choice for any future repairs.
All of our implant overdentures are ideal for patients who desire a stable prosthesis with improved function, retention, and speech. We have a variety of implant design options available to suit the needs of all of our patients whether they need a metal bar, locators, or mini implants.

Meet MITCHELL A. PIERCE, JR. DMD
Mitchell A. Pierce, Jr., DMD has been a practicing dentist in Louisiana for 40 years. He attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and was awarded an American Dental Education Fund Scholarship which included the last year of undergrad school and his entire years at Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Ma. Dr. Pierce completed the American Academy of Implant Dentistry/ implant training program at the Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Pierce is the first dentist to attain the Fellowship with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry in the Southeast Louisiana area. Also, he has a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Pierce has been involved with surgical placement and restoration of dental implants for more than 26 years. He has also lectured for various Dental implant companies, dental societies, organizations and has performed live dental implant surgery demonstrations. He is licensed to practice in Louisiana, Texas and Arizona
Dr. Pierce is an avid cyclist averaging about 125 miles a week and enjoys topics and readings on integrative nutrition.
